The honour of your vote is once again graciously requested - plus new items and designs

There are quite the number of entries to this popular "Mandala" challenge this week so get yourself a cuppa and settle down before you vote. As usual I had great fun designing this pattern and am pleased with the result of the layout I entered to Spoonflower.
Many thanks in advance for your time!

The March challenges for Spoonflower were right up my street as they were all based on geometry and for someone who fell asleep during maths class every time it is quite funny that I end up doing a lot of geometry and calculating in my artwork. There is one more geometric design I'll be doing for the challenge the week after next - based on hexagons - I will start that design today and see where it leads me!

In the meantime I am starting to populate my online shops with collections based on my Coronet Mandala pattern which, as you well know if you're familiar with my work, I love to mix and match with other backgrounds and motifs from previous designs - here are links to the start of those groupings
(click on the shop name below the image to go directly to the collections)
SPOONFLOWER

and I will be adding this collection to my ARTofWHERE shop shortly

Durable Isobar wallpaper is now available in my
 ROOSTERY HOME shop
"A versatile custom-printed wallpaper with a stunning subtle leathered texture.
Custom printed Isobar Durable will bring a splash of color and sophistication to any residential or commercial space with it’s low-sheen matte finish.
Isobar Durable features scrub and scratch resistant performance making it ideal for use in all environments subject to wear and tear, from playrooms and bathrooms to restaurants and office spaces. This PVC-free, FSC Certified wallpaper also features mold, mildew and water resistance.
Isobar un-pasted double rolls measure 25” wide by 27’ long and are designed to be double-cut for a final install width of 24”. We recommend you work with a professional paper installer for consultation, estimation and installation."

and in my CURIOOS shop I have a wonderful die-cut metal print available "Rainbow Candy Geometric" - unique and in a limited quantity
All the grey spaces you see between the shapes are actually cut outs in the metal!

On a totally different tack I think I have found the car of my dreams - I kept seeing this cute little vehicle on Instagram posts and went on a Google search to find out it is a Nissan Figaro - I don't think they make them anymore but they did come in such lovely pastel colours - and here of course is my fave - the perfect pink.

Thanks for reading and be in touch - I'll be posting my Hexagon design in a couple of weeks - thanks so much for taking the time to vote for me this week - I do appreciate it SO MUCH

The latest challenge at Spoonflower....

Here above is my latest design "LEIA" in a nod of respect to the recently passed Princess - my entry for this weeks Spoonflower challenge for "MOSAICS" - I started off below - very laboriously and monotonously painting individual squares and developed them into motifs which I scanned and then created the final repeat in Photoshop - also a tad tedious but I ended up with a design I am really pleased with that looks, to me, like glass tiles - not my intention but a happy serendipitous result. A few people have mentioned it reminds them of cross stitch - which is just fine and dandy with me too.
If you have the time and inclination I would so appreciate your vote
no need to sign in - thanks so much in advance :)

Here is a pic of my feature in UPPERCASE magazine - I am so appreciate to Janine Vangool - the publisher - for including me in this lovely jam packed full of surface design eye candy magazine
And here is a picture of the latest watercolour hand painted design I have featured in my print on demand online shops - click each shop name to go to PARTERRE (a level space in a garden or yard occupied by an ornamental arrangement of flower beds) BOTANIQUE:

My next design is on the watercolour block and I'll be submitting it to the Spoonflower challenge for next week - the call is for Mandalas - a particular favourite of mine so wish me luck with the paint up and I'll be in touch to ask for your kind vote once again - 'til then my thanks

Happy New Year, thank you UPPERCASE and your vote please :)

I wish you all the very best of prosperity, health and happiness to you and yours in this coming year! My heartfelt thanks to all who have supported me and my work with encouragement, likes, faves, hearts, comments and purchases - 2016 was my best year yet!

Mine got off to an abfab start with the inclusion of my work in this simply fantastic surface design magazine

If you click HERE you can see a 'walk through' of this issue and with very adroit eyeballs you can catch my feature on page 76 on the left hand page and the inside column. What a deliciously, delightful, colour and pattern packed magazine - talk about eye candy!!
Thank you Janine Vangool for choosing me and my work!

Now onto the voting business of the new year - my first challenge entry at Spoonflower. The call was for a textile design featuring YARN - here's my pattern - all originally hand painted in watercolour on paper.
A trompe l'oeil depiction of a simple Fair Isle knitting pattern - I had planned a much more complex striped design but quickly realized I had bitten off more than I could chew for the deadline so I stayed simple and am now creating more complex and coordinated motifs and patterns to add to my Spoonflower and other POD (print on demand) shops.

Please may I ask you most kindly to
***You don't have to sign in to vote

***You can vote for as many designs as you like

***The order shuffles for each voter
***You can only vote once :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to vote for me - appreciatively

I have also succumbed and joined INSTAGRAM as DesignConfections (every version of my name was already taken) - so please join me here by clicking on my 'new' name above.
