A Christmas gift round up with some fun new items from my shops.

ACRYLIC BLOCKS new to my Redbubble shop - available in all my designs. Wonderful on a shelf or coffee table and NO need to frame - yea!!!
(wherever you see bold capitals that is a clickable link)

Also in my Redbubble shop - my first ever calendar - you could even customize your CALENDAR (click on the capitalized calendar to bob along there and see each page) by perusing my portfolio and messaging me the titles of the designs you want with their month order - a tad clumsy but surely very possible :)

My favourite scarves - also from the inimitable Redbubble - 55" square, very smooth, perfectly printed and nicely finished - I am a fan!

Click HERE to visit all my scarf designs

and now for party attire - my fun capri and ankle leggings at ETSY

and A-Line Dresses at REDBUBBLE

Home decor items for a quick redo include wall tapestries from both REDBUBBLE
 and rectangular pillows at SOCIETY6
For tabletop items including Cocktail Napkins
dinner napkins...
and placemats - please visit my ROOSTERY shop
and for stocking stuffers how about HARDBOUND NOTEBOOKS  (these can be customized and made available through my Etsy shop for a small fee)
STICKERS also make great stocking stuffers too

and new GALLERY ARTBOARDS from my Redbubble shop

and last, but by far not least, you can now purchase ready to make or even custom made to order Christmas Stockings from SPROUT PATTERNS
when you click on the words sprout patterns above it will take you to a page where when you click add designs you can input my name "PatriciaSheaDesigns" in the 'search' box drop down for 'designer' and all my available patterns come up for you to chose the ones you'd like for your Christmas Stocking - then a mock up of such miraculously appears and you can chose to purchase a pattern template ready to sew yourself or have it custom sewn by Sprout. Ta dah!! Print on demand is amazing!!
A "PINK CHRISTMAS" mock up I made using my Kimono Bouquet and Pink Paisley patterns.
As with all orders this time of the year the sooner you place them the better and all my items are custom made to order so that applies doubly!

Wow! Now you can get custom made furniture covered with my fabric designs!

I cannot express to you how literally over-the-moon, thrilled to pieces, chuffed to bits I am that the options continue to grow, seemingly exponentially, in my wondrous realm of Print On Demand resources!
The latest, just fantastic, addition is custom made chairs from the Spoonflower sister company "Roostery" in two styles - the Venda Sloped Arm Chair (pictured above) and the Maran Slipper Chair below:

So you can have either of these chairs custom made in North Carolina in any of the designs from my Spoonflower shop in either eco canvas or faux suede.

Be still my heart!

As ever you can request some customization on the fabric part of the chairs - if you would like a background colour changed (not always possible varies by the designs) or the design rescaled (smaller is easier than larger) please be in touch via the message form in the right hand column here on the blog, or be message on my FACEBOOK business page. Your wish will be my happy command!

Thanks for taking a look and see you soonish

Please may I ask for your vote?

This is my entry into this month's "Double Take'" Spoonflower/Betabrand Challenge - the brief was to create a design that was either a trompe l'oeil (I went this way) or something that could be seen two ways - like an Escher print.

I painted up a realistic daylily from my garden in watercolour and separately a cut work or lace pattern to look 3D and then subtly 'threaded' the daylily 'through' the background design. It's quiet but I hope not too subtle for the brief!
And what an unusual colour palette for me - I am normally very multicolour so just violet and orange is a new direction.

I will be populating my POD's with this design in the next few days and will do another blog post with all the links.

In the meantime please
for me (by clicking on the word vote) - there are a lot of entries and they are shuffled for each voter so thanks so much for taking the time from your day - very appreciated!

I am very pleased and proud to announce that I now have a CURIOOS online shop for a simple but classy array of wall art items namely: Fine Art Prints, Aluminium Prints, Acrylic Glass Prints and the fab new Metal Disk Prints you see pictured herewith.

I am over the moon about these disk prints, I just love their look as a focal point in an elegant room. Only available through Curioos - they are produced using the latest in sublimation technology. This process uses heat to transfer the image into a .045 thick aluminum sheet, allowing for an unparalleled color gamut of the highest of archival standards. Prints are crisp and high gloss, as well as durable, lightweight and water resistant. They are ready to hang with our proprietary 1/2" aluminum shadow mount which allows for seamless installation.

Each print, of all types, also come signed, numbered and shipped with a certificate of authenticity! The disk prints are limited to a small edition of  each size - the sizes are 12" diameter, 16" diameter, 20" diameter, 28" diameter and only 5 will be made of the dramatically large 43" diameter size.

The honour of your vote is once again most kindly requested

Spoonflower has recently changed the timing and focus of their design competitions which used to be weekly and more 'for fun' but are now monthly and have a specific focus. This first challenge is a collaboration between Spoonflower and one of their new divisions Sprout Patterns.

"Submit a Japanese Garden-themed design you think would look great on Sprout Patterns’ Asaka Kimono by Named Clothing. The winner’s design will be featured in the launch of this new pattern and all top-ten designers will receive great prizes!"

If you would like to vote for my "Kimono Bouquet" pattern please click
My sincere thanks for your vote - just fyi the voting reorders for each voter, you can only vote once and you don't have to sign in to vote!

Sprout Patterns is a new service that allows you to combine indie sewing patterns with Spoonflower designs to create customized cut and sew projects. Sprout takes away the work of tracing a sewing pattern onto fabric and lets you truly enjoy the process of making your own garments and accessories.
I am populating all my online shops with this new design - which I hand painted in watercolour on paper before scanning cleaning getting ready for the templates in Photoshop and then uploading to my items which range from smartphone cases, framed art prints, spandex leggings, beanies, scarves and home decor items too. Thus far I have created 6 different iterations of/from this initial design as I love the idea of mixing and matching the patterns for pillows on a sofa, a different but co-ordinated legging with a fun beanie etc etc etc
For this collection at Spoonflower please click HERE

For Kimono Bouquet leggings at Redbubble please click HERE

For Kimono Bouquet collection at Society6 please click HERE

For this Kimono Bouquet collection at ArtOfWhere - for beanies, spandex ankle and capri leggings - please click HERE
For large (55" square) silky chiffon scarves please click HERE

My thanks to Gaia Marfurt for so kindly creating this sweet Kimono Doll for me and others in the challenge to decorate with their designs.
As with all of my designs I originate my artwork in watercolour, Winsor and Newton, on watercolour paper blocks by the same - with W & N series 7 paintbrushes - can you tell I am loyal to Winsor & Newton? I transfer the design from my original sketch via the wonderful auspices of old fashioned pencil and tracing paper....
and after I have a faint outline on my pad I then start the process of layering my watercolour paints in wash upon wash until my design is complete
 - then it's off to the scanner and Photoshop for the ultimate creation of a final set of file
which I can upload to my various online shops.
Thanks so much for taking the time to vote - appreciatively, PatriciaSheaDesigns
